Kauna School

Library Project

Our goal is to supply books for the Kauna School Library, which currently has no books. There are nearly 300 students attending the school, some are Missionary Kids, others are fatherless children or children from local villages. The 2 ways you can help are described below. Note that for any book you donate, we will put a "Donated by" label in the back with your name on it.

ONE

Purchase Books from the Kauna Primary Library Books registry at Amazon. These registries are not designed for non-profit account, so please follow the steps at checkout.

PLEASE DO THESE 2 THINGS AT CHECKOUT:

  1. Check the box [√] for "This is a gift"
  2. Put your email address in the "Gift Message" so that we can send you a receipt and project updates. Amazon won't let you do this unless you replace the dot with a dash in the address --> name@gmail.com becomes name@gmail-com. We will switch it back to send your receipt.

TWO

Make a monetary donation that we will use to purchase books for the Kauna Primary Library in Central Nigeria.

You can also donate by mailing a check made out to:

Sharing the Mission

Vancouver WA 98686

HOW IT WORKS:

  1. Donors purchase books on the Kauna Primary School registry, or provide funds.
  2. Amazon delivers the books to STM.
  3. STM sends in-kind donation receipts to donors (if they provide an email).
  4. STM places the books in M-Bags for lower-cost USPS airmail to Nigeria.
  5. Books arrive at Kauna Primary School in time to be processed and ready for the 2026-27 school year.
  6. Donors are notified about the results of the project (if they provide an email).
